Gabion Supplies at Nalubaale Dam

Over the years, due to increased spillage from the sluices and spillways at both Power stations (Kiira EV and Nalubaale), there has been increased erosion on the banks adjacent to the spillways. Hence Eskom Uganda contracted Energymax Uganda Limited to undertake the Riverbank restoration works using a combination of Gabion Boxes and Gabion Mattresses.

TETRABUILD SERVICES LIMITED supplied the Gabion Boxes and Gabion Mattresses used for the restoration works. We also supplied Geotextiles used as the filter layer behind the Gabion Walls.
