TETRABUILD Services Limited was subcontracted by Armour Fields Ltd to undertake waterproofing works to a concrete roof slab under the NARO Kajjansi Offices.
The waterproofing works were undertaken using the APP Torch On membrane primed with a bituminous coating. The existing concrete surface was well prepared by surface grinding and then a layer of waterproof plaster screeded over the entire slab using Masterseal 501WA Waterproofing Chemical. Corners and joints were modified with a chamfer detail to enable the proper laying of the membrane.
All repair mortars and plastered surfaces were treated with Masterseal 501WA (Waterproofing chemical) added to the mortar.
